Last Saturday was Doodle Day at Slamseys – local friends and families joined us in the barn to doodle their way into the national competition and to add their designs to our Post-It Doodle Mural.
Led by Lisbeth, the lovely ladies from our local Epilepsy Action branch were on hand to sustain our creative juices with oodles of delicious cakes and cups of tea.
Together we raised £91.65 for Epilepsy Action to help improve the lives of those living with epilepsy and to raise awareness about the condition.
This was the first time we’ve taken part in National Doodle Day, but will definitely be doing it again next year. It’s a fantastic cause that we were really proud to give our support. It also reminded me how lovely it is to sit down and put some time aside for being creative , having a little doodle and a catch up with friends!
